GIST Support International

GIST Support International is dedicated to supporting patients with Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST) by providing education, resources, and a community for patients and caregivers. Additionally, it provides assistance to GIST patients, including financial support for travel to seek second opinions from sarcoma experts. We aim to connect patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to improve the quality of life for those impacted by GIST. We aim to educate patients and their families about GIST, facilitate access to information, and promote research and advocacy. They focus on raising awareness about mutational testing and its importance in tailoring treatment plans for GIST patients. GIST Support International is also dedicated to supporting patients with Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST) through advocacy, education, and research initiatives. They aim to improve the understanding and treatment of SDH-deficient GIST tumors and provide resources for patients and families.
