EGM Cancer Support

East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support CLG (doing business as EGM Cancer Support) is a non-profit charitable organization which provides a network of psychological, emotional, and practical support for those diagnosed with cancer, their families, and friends. Formed in 2012, our Centre aims to address the needs of its clients, whatever those needs may be, in a warm, safe, welcoming and confidential way. We can achieve this because many of our volunteers have been through similar experiences and as a result are empathetic to those currently battling with cancer. Support for women in menopause through educational talks and resources. Can-REACT is a personalised at-home exercise programme designed to maximise recovery following cancer treatment. It combines personalised exercise with proper nutritional advice to enhance health, fitness, and quality of life for cancer patients. The programme is flexible and adaptive, catering to individual fitness levels and needs.
