Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association

Blue Faery is dedicated to raising awareness, providing education, and supporting patients and caregivers affected by liver cancer, particularly Hepatocellular Carcinoma. The organization focuses on education, advocacy, and research related to liver cancer. Blue Faery provides patient education materials free of charge to patients, their families, and healthcare providers, focusing on liver cancer. Blue Faery’s Love Your Liver program spreads awareness and educates high-risk, underserved populations to increase the prevention and early detection of liver disease and cancer. Given that minorities have higher rates of liver cancer, Love Your Liver seeks to improve health inequities and address social determinants of health. Blue Faery's Patient Resource Guides for Liver Cancer answers some of the more common questions asked by newly diagnosed HCC patients. The Adrienne Wilson Spirit Award (AWSA) is specifically designed for patients diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma. Blue Faery created the AWSA to recognize patients who share Adrienne Wilson's spirit, strength, and courage. Therefore, we are looking for HCC patients who are advocates for themselves as well as others during their fight against liver cancer. The annual Blue Faery Award for Excellence in Liver Cancer Research honors one researcher who has made significant contributions to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or understanding of liver cancer.
