BePOPI defends the interests of patients with a primary immunodeficiency (PID) and promotes scientific research into PID. Located at Abelenstraat 20, 2640 Mortsel, Belgium. BePOPI is a national organization of volunteers who are either affected by a primary immunodeficiency (PID), are family members of a PID patient, or are involved with PID patients. Founded in 2021, it receives support from IPOPI (International Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiencies) and JMF (Jeffrey Modell Foundation). The organization advocates for patients with PID, promotes scientific research, and organizes activities such as sports camps, awareness weeks, and fundraising events. It actively participates in European and national policy discussions, and aims to improve access to medication and early detection of PID. BePOPI also maintains a Facebook community for parents and provides information and support to patients and families.
